Travis Kelce gets a fresh haircut to mark his return to NFL after Super Bowl loss

Travis Kelce is officially returning for his 13th NFL season, and he marked the occasion with a fresh haircut from his longtime barber, Vince Garcia.

Over the weekend, Garcia shared a video on Instagram showcasing Kelce’s new look, which featured a clean trim and a subtle fade along the sideburns.

The Kansas City Chiefs’ star tight end didn’t opt for a dramatic change but appeared pleased with the results. Smiling, he hugged his barber at the end of the session.

Garcia expressed his excitement in his Instagram post, writing, “Always good catching up with my brother @killatrav. Glad you’re running it back next season, fam. You’re definitely one of the best tight ends to ever play the game.”

Kelce Confirms His Return After Super Bowl LIX Loss

Kelce’s decision to return was confirmed last week when he sent a text to Pat McAfee announcing his comeback.

Following the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LIX loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, the veteran player had considered retirement. However, after some reflection, he committed to another season, determined to help his team rebound from their failed three-peat attempt.

Looking back on the Super Bowl loss, Kelce admitted that his focus wasn’t where it needed to be during the game. On his New Heights podcast, he acknowledged feeling off that night.

“I feel like I owe the guys that I come into that building with a whole lot more effort and focus,” Kelce shared. “I just don’t know what it was during that game, man. I wasn’t at my best. The more I see clips or watch the film, I’m just like, ‘What the f**k.’”

His brother and podcast co-host, Jason Kelce, reassured him, saying, “Don’t overanalyze it, Trav. You’re the king of not overanalyzing, so don’t overanalyze it.”
