NBA: I wouldn’t wish injury on anyone, says Sabonis as Jayson Tatum injury shakes Celtics
The Boston Celtics defeated the Sacramento Kings for their sixth consecutive win in a thrilling NBA regular game, 113-95, at Golden 1 Center on Monday, March 24. The Celtics recorded their ninth victory in ten games and their sixth in a row, but Tatum, who led all scorers with 25 points, suffered a fall late in the third quarter after stepping on Domantas Sabonis’ foot while trying to attempt a three-pointer.

Celtics maintain east dominance despite injuries
Now with the win, Boston improved to 53-19, after the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference standings. Despite missing key players, Jrue Holiday due to a shoulder injury, Kristaps Porzingis due to illness, and Xavier Tillman due to a knee injury, the Celtics have maintained throughout the contest. Jaylen Brown, battling a knee issue, was listed as day-to-day but managed to contribute 18 points.
The Celtics roster proved to be working, with Derrick white and Al Horford stepping up in the absence of multiple starters. Boston’s three-point shooting (19-of-50, 38%) and defensive intensity kept Sacramento at bay, reinforcing their status as a top title contender.
